Vaccination Requirements for Umrah & Hajj

Mandatory Vaccination

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia requires all pilgrims to have the following vaccinations:

• Meningococcal Meningitis (ACWY): Required for all pilgrims. Must be administered at least 10 days before travel and no more than 3 years before arrival.
• COVID-19: Check the latest Saudi guidelines for current requirements.

Recommended Vaccinations

• Influenza (Flu) vaccine
• Pneumococcal vaccine
• Yellow Fever (if travelling from an endemic area)
• Hepatitis A and B
• Typhoid

Where to Get Vaccinated

You can get vaccinated at your GP surgery, local pharmacy, or travel health clinic. We recommend getting vaccinated at least 4-6 weeks before your travel date.
